Who am I and what do i do?

My name is Barb Hegan. I’m a personal trainer with an honours degree in human nutrition and a background in health promotion. I work one-on-one with like-minded Wellingtonians who realise that making time for fitness, good nutrition and fun sets you up well for being strong for life.

As a 50+ woman I have ‘real-world’ experience together with technical expertise to share.

I come to you at your chosen location: 

  • at your convenience

  • for the amount of time you want 

  • for the purpose you want (lycra optional).  


What can i do for you?

My advice is realistic and based on best practice, not on fads or hype.  

I can help you to ‘walk-the-talk’ - to eat well and exercise purposefully to feel more energised, more optimistic. 

You might want help to:

  • work out 

  • condition and strengthen your body

  • manage menopause

  • improve the content of your pantry and fridge

  • deal with a chronic condition.
